Lion Andy Stalker
A-3 Zone Chairperson
2007-2008

ZC Andy was born in Winnipeg, Manitoba; raised and schooled in New Westminster; employed by BC Telephone.  He was transferred to the beautiful Bulkley Valley in 1961 as a technician.  He has worked throughout the Pacific Northwest and got to know the people and the distinct culture of the Northwest.

ZC Andy joined Lions in 1964 as a Charter Vice President, and over the years has served his Zone consisting of seven clubs, but over the years because of economic reasons, the population in the valley has dwindled and people have left in search of work.

Today there are four clubs in the Zone.  Their challenge is to encourage membership growth as the Northwest is slowly starting to awaken as new mines open and improved port facilities are being built in Prince Rupert. 

ZC Andy has been married to Doreen for 48 years.  They have three children - 2 daughters and a son and seven grandchildren.
